2016 Adaptive LED Errors and Coding
So it's not a new shocking story about headlights getting water in them and messing things up in a 2016 F10 550ix. The process of rebuilding them absolutely F***n sucked BTW!! However, the primary purpose of this post is that I am looking for some help from the community on finding some reliable info on coding in the new replacement modules to the car. I replaced every module and ballast attached to the outside of it and kept the internals.
I've seen in other forums that it's a 2-step process requiring both ESYS and ISTA+ to program it in and teach-in the new modules which kinda seems right. But some say you only need one program or the other; and of course others say you need neither just plug it in and don't be an idiot. Currently I only have Protools, which can't do anything for it apparently. Any recommendations on who can do the coding remotely? Or should I just find a way of getting ESYS and ISTA+ and do it myself? If it's the second option Where TH do you actually find the programs!?! |
