N63TU Engine Mount Replacement
Has anyone here replaced the motor mounts on their N63/TU equipped 5 series? Pretty sure mine could do with replacing, and wondering if it'd be doable in my garage. I've replaced mounts before on a few different vehicles, but not on one of these, and I'm not sure how much more involved it would be (and if a lift is basically required).
Any insight would be appreciated. |

From what I’ve seen and read about it can be done with the engine in the car.
Do one side at a time and support the engine either from underneath with a Jack, or from the top with the engine brace as you lift it. There are many articles from searching and also there are YouTube videos on this. |

If it's anything like in those videos, shouldn't be too hard. |
