520d f11 fault codes 290B00, 2AB700 and 28EC00.

Hi guys, newbie here.

Having some issues with my 2016 F11 520d, it’s got 95k miles and just recently had EGR cooler and valve replaced under recall.

I keep getting the fault codes 290B00, 2AB700 and 28EC00 along with CEL. BMW made me aware that after the recall the car failed the ‘charge pressure sensor pressure test’ but said it wasn’t EGR related and washed their hands of it.

So taking matters into my own hands I started by replacing the Exhaust Back pressure sensor and pipe as it was blocked solid. I have also removed and cleaned the MAF sensor and fitted a new OEM air filter but still no joy.

Car drives fine with no power loss, the only driving issue per say is on a cold start the car will hiccup maybe once or twice and then that’s it.

I used BimmerLink to try clear the fault and it reappeared as soon as engine was restarted. I have noticed that as soon as these faults appear, the EGR valve shuts completely?

I would appreciate any help and advice!

Chris
