New wheels fitment issue | Work Gnosis HR-1 20"

Hi everyone!

I've got f10 530i 2011, i bought set of wheels, and absolutely enjoying the look of the car despite rear wheels sitting out of fenders, i was assuming that after installing coilovers and lowering it fitment will be OK.

I installed KW V3 coilovers, slightly lowered the car and wheels definitely wont go under fender... looking for advises, i really dont want to change the rims.

I want to try smaller tires and negative camber, some people say if go below 275 in backi will have issues with speed reading and gearbox (not sure why). Negative camber only on back will look ugly i think.

Wheels:

Work Gnosis HR-1

20"
9j et18
10j et18

Tires:
245/40/20
275/35/20

Im attaching the pictures for better understanding.

The offset at the rear is simply too low. I'm running 285mm tyres on 9.5" wheels with a 32mm offset and they fit pretty well.

Yeah that offset is never going to allow what you are wanting. Im running 20x9 +32 with 255/35/20 up front and 20x10.5 +42 with 295/30/20. So you are pushed out 14mm more than mine. Thats a good bit

This mine with 9,5" et22, with 245/35r20 continental. It just fits and tire doesn't rub to inner fender and my finger fits between wheel arch and wheel.
My current summer setup is 275/30r20 triangle and 10" et29 and it is also close call.

10" et18 is not gonna fit even with strech, because wheel will most likely hit wheel arch.
