F07 Sunshade Replacement
Anyone have to replace their pano sunshade? The Fabric on mine tore off, and I purchased the replacement roller. But I cannot figure out how to install it. Any one with a similar experience?

Sunshade
Got to the Facebook GT page there was a couple of talks about that, this does not have to much action going on.
Its not an easy repair most people just get limo tint done and call it a day. |

I retracted mine and tinted the sunroof the darkest shade possible for $90. Not replacing it as it’s a bad design that will likely fail again. Very common issue.

No idea why BMW thought it was a good idea to glue a thin piece of metal to cloth and put it in the one area that is going to attract the most sun? Mine is hanging loose so I might just remove it and tint as suggested.

I bought one on AliExpress, but the quality was not good enought so I did it for nothing.
However it is quite easy to do it, just a bit long. Someone on youtube posted a video to show how to do it, very usefull video. Last edited by Vitto4575; 10-29-2024 at 05:34 AM.. |
