Exclamation F10 High Diesel Consumption

Hello everyone, i have a 2010 520d f10, i'm the only owner since then and the car now has 280000 km (174k miles). I recently had problems with EGR Valve and phisically took it off, but i haven't done any ECU remap on it. Before this operation my car had a consumption of about 13-14km/l (7,5L/100km). Once i took the valve off i noticed the consumption raised at 14-15km/l (6,8L/100km).
Now after three weeks my consumption has lowered at even 11-12km/l (8,3l/100km) .

Does anyone have an idea of what this high diesel consumption could be? i still have the DPF on by the way.

Could this be a clogged intake manifold? Deleting the EGR Valve also from the ECU will solve this? Please give me any solution.

I don't know if you've solved the problem. Good that you removed the EGR. However, it should also be coded into the car, because there may be problems with the mixture ratios. In other words, the car should know that it is getting fresh air now, and not use any alternative "map" when the engine is not working "the way it used to". In any case, a good update, because often consumption may even drop (better combustion). Just keep the DPF in place, it will reduce the odors significantly.
