Has anyone replaced 'intercooler' on F10 528i?

Hello,

I am looking for an instruction or video on how to remove an intercooler on 2013 F10 528i. I tried to find a video for this exact car but wasn't able to do so (although i did find few similiar ones).

Comparing with videos for other BMW cars, it looks like i will just have to disconnect the two charge pipe (one on each side), undo maybe 3 or 4 screws, then simply pull it out. Judging by realoem and this screenshot, I think only difference is that my intercooler has this two brackets (17518517032) which needs to be taken out too.

Is my assesment correct? Will I have to drain the coolent for this job (I don't think this is required)?

Below is the pic of the intercooler and one of the bracket.

Have a look at this.

Pretty straight forward it seems.

Hi everyone, I finished the job.

1. Jack up the car
2. Remove the bottom splash cover
3. Disconnect the two charge pipes connecting to the intercooler
4. Lift up the fan (1 or 2 screws at the top on each side). Push the top level on the left/driver side and slide up the fan at the same time. You can either remove the fan or just lift it 3 or 4 inches i think
5. Remove the 3 bolts on the intercooler (at the bottom of it)
6. Remove the intercooler

For installation, just reverse the steps above.
