Adding Coolant
I just replaced the Mickey Mouse flange on the coolant pipe, the original looked fine at 82000 miles.
Even though I jacked up the front of the car half gallon of fluid spilled out. Instead of adding coolant via the reservoir, I removed the coolant hose from the air cooler and slowly filled through that hose. The idea was to displace air upwards. When the reservoir was full, I bled the system a few times using the 10 second accelerator depress with the heat on. The road test at 95 degrees was good, temperature normal |

Congrats on replacing the Coolant Hose Flange (aka "Mickey Mouse")!
FWIW to others out there, here's the TIS procedure for the "10 second" bleed routine to be performed after vacuum fill on the N55 (F10). |
