Hello I have 2011 BMW 535i. 05/10 build date.
Having some trouble getting my sunroof working... at all.
Checked and replaced all fuses 58,61,11,182
Tried initialization and nada. Must've held tilt for a whole minute and nothing.
Won't initialize on my autel scanner either..
These are my codes in attachment photos
Not sure if my power window on passenger side has anything to do with it.
Code 30095
Any input will be much appreciated.

It's happened to me where the initialization process didn't work. One day I randomly tried and it the initialization process worked. My suspicion of how it suddenly worked was my voltage was low. Try opening or closing it while driving. Not much help just sharing my experience with a similar problem I had.

Thank you I'll give it a try but I have ordered a used fzd module to see it the problem lies in the switch it self. I'll update my progress. Till I sort this out

can you go into service on your autel?
if u can I'm curious if you can activate the functions thru the tool.
I have autel and was able to then my initiation worked.

Sorry to hear that. Again totally random for me. One day I was driving decided to try the sun roof and bam it opened. I pulled over immediately, performed the reset procedure and the problem never returned.

update: the sunroof is working now I got it to initialize
After swapping my 61 fuse which appeared to be good in the first place.
Either way I'm happy and can now move on to doing the headliner.🤙😎

Hey everyone, I also have problems with sunroof on f10 530d 2016. I removed that interior light module and i probably removed it incorrectly because when i put all the wires back together, nothing seem to work. Well yea, that interior light is working but nothing with sunroof, the motor doesnt make any noise, nothing makes a noise. I have tried to do the reset and everything but nothing seem to work. Also one thing is that one place on printed circuit board is heating pretty fast, maybe like in 5 minutes its pretty warm (i can mark that place and send a picture). Im helpless at this point, the car isn't mine so i need all of the help as quick as possible.

I cant see anything noticible in that whole dome or module but could someone say what i should do, first things first i have to admit, i havent checked the fuses. I believe that the problem is in that module because after i took it off nothing is working.

I also have to ask this; IF i cant have this module working and i have to buy another module, how can i be sure that it will fit. What numbers should be same and what happens if they are not? This mine module doesnt have SOS button so its pretty rare. The numbers in the back what i believe is the most important are the manifacture date: 27.10.15, HW: 6.0.0 SW: 1.38.1

Put the last 7 digits of the car’s VIN in the s/n field at this site: www.realoem.com …then work your way through the parts database to get the current 11 digit BMW part number you seek. When you click on the part number…it should open another page that will list all (if any other) BMW models that use the same part number…as well as if there are any older or other part nbrs that are compatible or not compatible.

Also check the owners manuals (there’’s a digital version embedded in iDrive) to see the instructions for reinitializing the glass panel. Some BMWs require the vehicle to be stationary with the engine running and some just require the vehicle to be stationary and powered on but engine does not need to be running. So failure to initialize could be a simple instruction being overlooked.
