I have loved every 3-series coupe and sedan between 1996 and 2026.

I have this terrible feeling that BMW will mess up the new 3-series. (Like how they made the new X3 feel like a cheap inexpensive Chevy small SUV$

So true. When I owned 2017 BMW 440i, I always asked for anything 4-series or 3-series. F36 has been my favorite 4-series (technically still 3-series) vehicle.

As an owner of the 2026 X3M50, I still feel the “heart” and nimbleness of the 3 series. It’s the drive that shines through.

I find the big navigation screen is very useful rather than Chevy cheap.

I believe The Ultimate Driving Machine has been a US or NA only tagline since the 70s and Freude am Fahren (joy of driving) is the German BMW AG or European tagline. So driving pleasure probably indicates the video was produced in Europe.

The outerior design jump from e30 to the e36 was huge and the e46 continued in refining the modern look.
The e36 was my first good car, and atm I am happy with my F31.
