Paddle shifter coding

Hi. I have a 2016 535 that has the sport trans and came with paddles from factory. I recently replaced the wheel with a forge carbon one from bimmereuro and the paddle shifters don’t work. I’ve been told that I have to code them in as if it’s a retrofit even tho my car had paddles from the get go. Can someone shed more insight please? Or possibly where to go for bimmercode because I can’t seem to find the retrofit option.

BimmerCode has the option to code them in. I’ve done it myself. I can’t recall exactly which module you’ll find it under. I had a non paddle wheel, swapped it for paddles, and was able to code it. Worked just fine.

Should not be needed coding if you already had them, but the option is under SZL.
