Post your favorite pic of 2006
Cool new forum.
Now it's the end of the year, I realize that 2006 was a watershed year for me and this hobby. I bought my dSLR in 2004, but didn't really exploit it until this year. Anyways, now we have our new off-topic forum, how 'bout posting your favorite or best pic of the year? It's not intended as a competition, just a gallery. Rules: 1) Only 1 pic allowed per member - please. Makes you think about which and why. 2) You took it - and it was taken in 2006. 3) Two rules is quite enough, this is supposed to be fun. -*-*-*- I'll get the ball rolling with 'il colosseo'. I took this pic in Rome during our European Delivery this year. While it's not as technically good as other pictures I've taken (original composition was terrible, hence the drastic crop) or as dramatic as my NYC pics that I posted earlier in December, I keep coming back to this and it makes me smile. It's not my best pic of the year, but it's certainly my favorite.

Well, I haven't been shooting much this year. NEXT year, I hope to have some really great pictures under my belt, but for this year I only started shooting again this month.
I think my best picture for this year is this, which I took today. It's LouTrigs' car (a member here), taken at my dealership. |
