Oyster interior
I'm planning to order a sophisto/dark graphite 535 with the oyster/black interior. But I'm still uncertain about the oyster - it seems very light. Is it an off-white, taupe, or light gray? I think I need to go and see it, but are there any cars in dealer inventories that have it?

There are no F10s at the dealers yet. At least none that I've heard about. You need to wait a couple more weeks to see any demos at dealers probably.
I just looked: Oyster/Black is a Priority 1 option. So it won't be at a dealer unless it's a customer order waiting to be picked up. |

In case anyone is interested, I found oyster (LCCX) on a dealer lot in a 3 series. So it is currently available. It is definitely a light brown/tan/beige color. I was mistakenly thinking it was a lighter gray, so I'm very glad I checked. I will definitely be getting another color, as yet to be determined!

I ordered the exact color combination you described -- saw it and sat in it at the NY auto show. Great choice IMO. The oyster is a like a very light taupe. The images on the configurators are not accurate -- they look more gray than oyster really is. I've seen several 7 series at dealers that have the oyster so you can check it out. The two-tone is very cool - just the seats and a stripe on the doors are Oyster; the rest of the interior is black and looks sharp. There are also a number of F10 intro movies that show the Sophisto-Oyster/black combo. Good luck.

Here's a video of the car at the NY auto show. There's a thread in this forum that has lots of photos.
