In my E60, I had gray interior, but the top of the door was also gray, so it was very monochromatic. In the F10, the doors have black plastic at the top above the wood trim, there is still some contrast with the everest gray. If you get the anthracite wood trim as well, it will look great with the everest gray. I was between the gray and oyster/black. Both looked great, but oyster/black would have also required possibly the anthracite headliner, etc. In the end, the maintenance of the lighter oyster was the final "con" for me. You can't go wrong either way.

I personally like the lighter interiors but never get to buy one because of my kids. Anybody with kids or pets know that a light interior's "newness" is gone on the second day. I thought I was done worrying about this because my oldest started driving until I was blessed with a baby girl (2 now). So I HAD to get the black Dakota. I envy all those that have the oyster, everest grey, cinnamon, etc... Damn the milk/juice stains! |
