Thanks for posting that. The ZMP adds the EDC but no special M Sport suspension. Interesting. I wonder if Canada will be the same.

exactly. No suspension, no purchase for me. Might have to look at the M3 sedan instead.

Yep, I'm thinking M3 now which is a shame cause I really loved my E60 550. The M3 is an awesome car, but if I could find a 2010 E60 550 with M Sport, I might snatch that up. Dunno why they had to go this direction with the F10.

This is killing me. M3 or M5 for me as well. btw, they left off the M sport shifter (very cool on the manual) and the M footrest - small, but nice cosmetic touches.

I don't get it...DHP (active) is a cut above M suspension (passive).
I the main issue price? |

Many don't like the handling that the current DHP provides and hoped that the M suspension would be result in an improvement. It was a great suspension on the e60 sport....much better than the current setup in my opinion. There are several threads that go into this in detail.

Wow! The 2010 535xi M sport package was only $3000 (vs $4500 for 2010 535i). Pretty impressive price increase for both versions (especially the Xdrive version)! Good luck BMW.

+1 and mostly for cosmetic changes. Something tells me the M steering wheel will not add much help to the handling. Well maybe the anthracite headliner will do it.....sorry

WOW $6500 ..I am sorry but that is a LOT of money for a 'sport' package. Not cool BMW, you can't charge option prices like Porsche

also try adding the same amount of stuff on even a boxter--its going to be about 15k (i.e. more than double). NA buyers are so spoilt.... |

The M-sport package's $6500 price includes the $2700 DHP option, the $2200 sport package, the $500 anthracite headliner, and the Aerodynamic kit, so it's not like it's just $6500 for a few cosmetic parts.

After I test drove the 535 and 550 w/out the DHP, I was content with just getting the sport auto with the M-Sport for looks. Now I'm forced to get the DHP option. Maybe I'm the only one, but I'm considering just waiting until I can buy the body kit separately.
