Slippery Steering Wheel Material
Does anyone else think the GT's steering wheel lacks grip and is too smooth in your hands? I drove another car recently and the wheel's material seemed to invite more confidence.

Try cleaning the steering wheel with a reputable leather cleaner like lexol (orange bottle).
That might do the trick. If you want extra protection you could follow with the conditioner (brown Bottle) but that may make the wheel slippery again. Personally, I use both because I am adamant about making sure all of the leather surfaces in this car are cleaned and conditioned.
