Brakes don't release immediately
I notice on my 535ix, when I am stop in traffic, brakes on, transmission in D, the brakes don't release immediately. I let go of the brake pedal and the brakes probably stay engaged for about 1 second before they release. It feels similar to the hill holding feature that my manual transmission 335i had. Every once in a while the brakes do not hold but 95% of the time they do. Is this normal for this car? Anyone else find the same happening?

Just looked it up in the manual, and yes the description of the drive off assistant sounds just like what I am experiencing. Too bad it is not a setting I can deactivate, I find it a bit odd and annoying in an automatic car, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
