If you have E-Sys, just Read SVT and see if KAFAS ECU is present. But, generally speaking, if you have no LDW and you have no SLI, then you have no KAFAS, unless you have a very early build F10, which is before they had the cheaper standalone FLA Camera for HBA Only cars.

I presume you are aware that you can code the other lights to come on too. Like main beams, low beams, license plate, fog lights, etc... you can light up the car like a Christmas tree.

Just saw the cheat sheet and will code the fogs to come on with my flashers. I think licence plate comes on as standard but will check it and code it if otherwise. What other goodies do you suggest? |

I guess the only way to confirm is what Shawn has suggested; i.e. connect via and read your SVT

HI GSP, been meaning to come to you for some time now but good I did not as my car just came back from a full firmware update. I now have the new navigation functions as per your pics earlier in the thread.
When would be a good weekend for you? Are you around this weekend? |

Unfortunately, I am out this weekend, then out Wed-Mon (09-14). I am doing a session for 2 persons on Monday evening (07th July) though; so if you wish to come along, you are welcome. Alternatively, we can hook up sometime after the 14th...

Hi everyone,
Since we now have multiple members willing to come in on Monday; may I suggest that we move this to a weekend instead? We will not have enough time on Monday evening. As you would all appreciate that coding does take time; and since most of you are coming around first time, I'm sure you all want to be sure of what is being done and to learn. The reason I do these sessions is to share knowledge and expand the coding community. I suggest that we have pick a weekend instead; we will all have more time and can relax a little too. My suggestions are: 19 July am session 26 July am session 27 July pm session Will go with the majority.... Please appreciate that I do this in my spare time was a hobby and as a free service. I try and accommodate as many people I can in the limited time I have available. Apologies, to all who had already agreed to come in on Monday.

yes, any OBDII connector cable will work. You will need E-Sys software, a license file and the appropriate PSZ data files and off you go.... happy coding.
