You will have no problem reading files and VO coding. But, you will not be able to edit or push changes to vehicle without token. So, reading on MAC will not be an issue nor modifying on Windows Machine. But, when you transfer back to Mac, you will not be able to push to vehicle. |

VO Coding: Can be done on Mac with VM. Eg, Enhanced Bluetooth FDL Coding: Can be done on Mac with Bootcamp, but not VM. Ex, removing startup legal disclaimers. |

FDL coding is what I am interested in, so it looks like it is a no go using a VM on Mac

bmw apps on CIC
Hi,
I've spent countless hours on forums, cant find the answer. I have a CIC system with combobox, can I get bmw apps? Do I need connected drive for it? Another question, I think I had basic traffic information on the car that worked once when tethering from a phone. After trying to code RTTI, I can't get any traffic reports. How Do I go back to basic? Unless it's possible to get RTTI? Hope someone can help. |

You cannot have RTTI, which is cellular based. You would need NBT head unit and a Subscription service for RTTI. For TMC (Traffic Message Channel), which is FM Radio based, you need to VO Code HU_CIC and CMB_MEDIA for 6UH.

I'm not sure I'm in the correct field/value for what I want.
My car has Xenon and the rings (don't know the name for those besides angel eyes) are not at full brightness as I've seen in other cars. To make them full brightness when headlights are off, am I in the correct field? FRM => 3050 => HELLIGKEIT_DRL => wert_01__100% When headlights are on what will the brightness, 100% as well or it can be coded? If so, can I get a tip? |

shawnsheridan I'm not sure where or if this has been discussed and I have not been able to find a real writeup on the subject. Do you or anyone else here have a good writeup on doing a full I-Step upgrade? I have a 2013 535i with NBT HU. last 7 of the VIN is c828892 if that helps any.
