Just like houses with pools. If one wants a pool the house is worth more. Conversely, someone that doesn't want a pool may low-ball an offer or just move on.

Like others said...the manual is rare, If i hadn't purchased my f10 I would've given you $9k cash all day...I have yet to actually see a MSport F10 manual. to me it's like bigfoot, people say they've seen him, but does he exist lmao Last edited by Trainwreck914; 01-31-2020 at 12:26 PM.. |

I sold my 2013 M-Sport 535 F10 6-speed manual with 35k miles on it back in October and there was a stampede of people after it, especially from Los Angeles (I am in Sacramento). I was the original owner and it was in beyond excellent shape with only mild cosmetic upgrades, though. There are definitely nerds! out there that still want a MT, they will find you!
I would suggest to sell your car: 1. Autotrader/Cars.com Ad with the Carfax paid for 2. Craiglist Ad that also links to 1. 3. Take a TON of high quality pics with a real camera 4. Load those raw pics on a premium Dropbox account in a folder, link to it on 1., 2. 5. Have all your receipts/invoices/history all scanned and also loaded onto Dropbox. 6. Be honest in pointing out any dings, wear, repairs, issues. 7. Be willing to take it for a PPI, etc and address any outstanding issues. ......heck even add a startup video, etc as well to Dropbox....I did Bring A Trailer is an excellent place to look at high effort sales posts to imitate. I cannot believe how many crappy low effort ads with blurry pics are out there on Cars/Autotrader/CL etc. You will get maximum value and a happy new owner if you put some effort into it.

I wouldn't call your car 'rare' because of an interior color and manual. Let's be honest...the general public doesn't buy manual cars. And if you do find a manual nerd they will beat you up on price anyway. I owned a 2011 535i manual and it wasn't rare and it didn't fetch a rare price.

I had the car for a year with no transmission issues. My original plan was to buy it back but just didn't have the time to mess with the repairs as I was without a car. It was damn near perfect. Also was getting 25mpg city which I miss. My auto is only getting 21.7 haha
