This one time I was doing 81 in a 55 zone and following another car also doing the same speed ahead of me.

After a couple of miles we both passed a cop with a speed gun and I was the only one who got pulled over.

I asked the cop why he pulled me over and not the other guy to which he said "At least that guy ahead of you had the balls to speed, you were just following him!!!".

I laughed my head off and apologized because it was late and I was simply trying to get home quickly. The cop also said "You're not the kind of guy I'm looking for so I'll let you go tonight". Whatever that meant. He let me go with a $30 "failure to obey posted street sign" ticket.

Proof that not all cops are dicks.

But, lesson learned.
