All mine came together but this is the original post I used to get all I needed, this post. You can try your local dealer for the adapter mentioned in this post or reach out to the guy in the second post I will link to below. Reach out to Jason@Tisher who is a forum vendor on here and I am sure they can get you the part this thread. Let me know if you need more info!

The diffuser is a direct fit but you have to swap out the existing Adapter that sits behind the diffuser with the new one before you install the new diffuser.

Bringing this up again. I'm stuck in the same situation. Option 1 vs Option 2

I agree with perrymaxima. I don't like CF and all gloss black is too much. The body color makes is a lot cleaner looking IMO. I went option 2 but still waiting for it to arrive.
I bought an Ebay rep diffuser and they offered painting service for an extra $30 for 1 color and $40 for 2. So I sent them some pics of what I wanted as samples and the BMW paint code, Alipne White III (300). It should be here in the next few days but with the covid thing who knows. Bought this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bmw-5-Serie...72.m2749.l2649 Sent the attached pics as reference.

I'm personally not a fan of CF so I couldn't wait to paint over the diffuser I got. I contemplated going full black or white/black. In the end, I went full white and I love it. It makes the rear of the car look BIG and flows perfectly with the rest of the car (white lip on the front as well). What I like about going full white is that I can always plasti-dip the center of the diffuser black to change things up and revert back when I want to.

URGH!!! My wife has me confused now on whether I made the right decision painting my CF diffuser all white after seeing a non-M Sport on the road with an all white bumper.
I put these together to help me decide - so I figured I'd share to help others with similar dilemma. I'm still happy about covering up the carbon fiber and have Jet Black #668 paint ready should I want to go full black to match the Shadowline trim.

Yes, same diffuser in all three. I just Photoshopped the all-white (top) photo.
Ended up plastic-dipping the center to see how I like it and ended up loving it, especially since it's matte black. It gave it a lot of depth. Sort of an M5 look without it pretending to be an M5.
