Thanks Jxnco for inquiring 3D and the lip will increase ground clearance by 15mm. So my 30mm test should be safe with plenty of margin.
my wheel gaps are about 1.5 fingers now. you guys can bench mark on this.

Done a few more trials by sticking the box at the sides. Not scraping what so ever. Will be pulling the trigger for the 3D front lip.

Found this photo. Head to head comparison of SE and M Sport with 3DDesign front lips.

And the 3D Design lip for the M Sport sort of flatten the contour from the bottom of the M Sport front which makes it a bit boring to me. But that just me. To each their own, I guess.

haha you have always liked the 3d design more.
What made the decision for me was that the 3d design is aftermarket and Msport is oem...so at least it is a plus for selling rather than aftermarket with 0 value. |

Yeah, you are probably right. My choices are either original with 3D lip or just the M sport. So I don't have to add anything to the front now

For me, I don't like the two pointy indentations too much. If they were step recesses like the M5 or the M3 (see comparisons), I am more pleased. Just don't suit my eyes. For the SE 3DDesign front lip, it has the two slots which I don't like so much either. I like simple and slick design, not into those complicated ones which bunch of slots and holes. Just my personal preference. That's why I only like the 3D M Sport front lip. The splitters are too much for me. The rear spoiler is a bit large to my taste and the diffuser is a bit too complicated. I prefer the OE rear spoiler and OE M diffuser. Simple and slick.

asiakid, 3D lip just 7-10 days wait as he told me. Good news for you as you are anxious on everything.

Jacky bro, that would save you 5k. do check with the scrapping though. the SE 3D lip seems like protruded a lit more than the M sport one.

I wanted to get 3d designs, but my gf liked MSport more..so i decided to just let her choose. Plus since oem, better resale value. But, yes, the 10 day wait is very tempting.
You guys are having a meetup at Z hahaha. |
