2010 2011 BMW 5 Series Forum F10 My 528i almost got me killed. |

I was doing a U turn the other day and only used my left hand to turn the wheel. As I came over to the other side of the street the engine wouldn't accelerate the car at all. Completely dead with the accelerator fully pressed to the floor. I had pressed the speed limit button on the steering wheel by accident during the U turn. Very embarrassing

My car (535i) did the same at one month old. So scary and then stalled in the intersection with on coming traffic! I see some very serious problems and big payout lawsuits heading BMW's way!
