Never purchased, on my 3rd BMW without a problem. After reading these posts I wonder what kind of streets you guys drive on. The secondary roads (not autobahns) can get a little rough here in germany too. I grew up in NY, it's been a few years since I have been to the States, infrastructure falling apart at a rapid rate?

You can take your new car to discount and get the tire certificates for $30/tire. That's what I did when I had run flats. Of course that only covers the first set of tires. But you can do again even If you dont buy tires from them.

what tire packages are you guys talking about?
I bought the BMW presense protection plus package 5 year unlimited miles tires and wheels + windshield + door dings for $2064 when i got the f10. this package is awesome. i have the same package for my 08 550i i bought eariler in the year (package was cheaper then $1795). so supposely they are only supposed to use oem bmw tires attainable from bmw dealerships. well my 550i came with new pilot sport 2s ( i bought the car certified used ) so i just took the car to wheel works and had the tires replaced with pilot super sports and paid for them. then had the manager of the wheel works place call the number on the brochure... and got the reimbursement check in a week. it was easy smooth and fast! I would highy highy recomended this package. |
