package only has aero kit & without: • Active Roll Stabilization (ARS) • Adaptive Drive • Dynamic Damper Control • Increased top speed limiter • Shadowline exterior trim • Sport seats • Anthracite headliner • M steering wheel • M door sill • M wheels (even though most of us will swap them, but they cost more to trade anyway) • Dark chrome tailpipes • Aluminium Hexagon interior trim In US, the whole M-sport package cost US$6500 only. and in Europe prices start at £3325 (£2750 for 550i) A lot to do if you want the complete M-sport look and performance. mlai has the DHP already so less to mod.

RC3
Some of that stuff, like the M steering wheel, door sill, alum hex trim, is cool.. Funny if someone changes the M Aero kit here and keeps the chrome tailpipes.. If its only bumper 'wrap' parts, and price difference is ~10k outside, may no need to go dealer since only body parts no susp. not much safety risk RC3, Break in your car already, lets go race our 528s !... Mlai, you can finally provide an answer to the question we all want to know, what is the difference between between Adaptive and none! |

Just came back from a "spirited" drive on my 135i vert with the new Koni FSD. Only one word: Sweet!

aiya, not break in yet. only 800+km. but I found the jerk and hesitate almost gone. may be I learned to manipulate the gas paddle now. the fuel consumption is still quite high ~15.7km/liter (mostly urban driving). is that normal?
I actually like the hamann aero kit that just came out debut in geneva (most and not the whole package). guess we can wait a bit and see what the vendors can offer.

I would thought u exceeded that figure many options and tax increases ago :P What color is the new one -carbon? if u keep the chrome tailpipes it will look like a an LSH (lexus) Last edited by grimlock; 03-08-2011 at 09:47 AM.. |

That is exactly my figure at that mileage! .. now its 15.0 at 3100km hamann = $$$ with wings .. but it would indeed be something else seeing it on the streets of HK i still get a little 'ek' to/off stationary with the brake, but only when its humid .. i won't bother to mod the tailpipes unless it's quad pipes mod, but need to change the diffuser too.
i never washed my cars myself in HK. no hose and don't like to wash in the car parks. I take my car out to wash. yeah, my car is black and don't want to buff it, so plan to get a coat of sealant instead, only a few hundred bucks, no harm to try.

i got the same promotional offer for the retrofitting... 47k all in all for the "upgrade" is pretty darn expensive. If it's a plain 535 to begin with, one is adding 6.4% just for the look and no actual performance gain.
It's better to spend those money for a set of lighter wheels and get rid of those bloody RFT once and for all... |

thanks. got it.
by the way, not a big fan of the tiny "spoiler" at the back. i am no aerodynamic expert but does it actually create downforce or stabilize trailing vortex to avoid lift to the rear axle at high speed? if not, then i think it's a hideous piece added to the trunk just for the sake of being different... =P |
