Stick with OEM. The risk far outweighs any reward on this one.

I considered the same @ Aluminum Pan when I had my transmission oil/filter serviced.
(For similar reasons as the OP raised)
However, for me, it was lack of 100% confidence with aftermarket filters.

I wasn't willing to bet my transmission on it.
