1st time I've actually heard it chirp in about a month. Chirps when I unlock/lock it again. It then goes off less than 2 min later, and I have to go unlock it again. I've obviously got a gremlin somewhere.

I haven't bothered downloading the Bimmerlink app, but maybe I need to see if I'm throwing any codes.

I have a 2015 535i (F10) and I'm experiencing EXACTLY what you posted.
Did you ever figure out what it was, and a way to fix/get it back to normal working function/

How old is your battery or have you checked your main battery to rule out a discharged battery causing odd electrical issues?

Also, take note of the red status LED (the clown nose below the interior rear view mirror) when you lock the vehicle. It flashes certain ways depending on if armed correctly or if there are issues with some of the monitors etc.

Hey Sorry Man,

I don't even remember this happening, nor what I did since this was 5 years ago. The car was totaled in Nov. '21 while hydroplaning on the interstate (going under speed limit, hit the center guardrail, & went sideways across 4 lanes of traffic to get hit and spun to face oncoming traffic). So I don't remember too much. I've been in a 3-series since.

Man I miss that 5 series though
