They'll write back with credit union(s) in your area that sell it. I only needed to open an account with $1 in it.

Where in SoCal? We've used many credit unions and all they have required is $5 (unavailable) in a savings account.

Does anyone have any suggestions for something other than Route 66? I do not think I can get one, and my understanding is they do not go above 100,000 miles. (My F10 550i has 80k.) Has anyone had Carchex or Endurance? They seem to have good reviews.

When I bought my used Bmw 535i the dealer sold me Warranty Solution and they have a lot of bad reviews online. But recently I had $3K job done at the bmw dealership and they paid everything and my deductible was only $200. But you can only buy warranty solution through certain dealers.

For Route 66, my credit union agent stated that if a service advisor notices faults or conditions that would lead to failure it is NOT covered as part of the warranty. Only repairs due to mechanical breakdown are covered. Is that the case for those that have successfully submitted their claims?
