I had exactly the same issue on my F10 520d MSport from when I bought it a year ago.
I changed tyres, all the brakes, suspected buckled wheel so I bought refurbed wheels but nothing solved it. Then, last week, the lower coil snapped on the rear spring. I had them changed for BMW original parts at my local indi for £375 including the springs and the wobble has dissappeared. The car drives sublime again. Rear has firmed up too. The road force thing is junk, don't waste your money. I've been searching for a solution to this issue for a year now and hundreds of people seem to be having this issue please spread this solution.

Same vibration
Thanks Daren, I'm going to try replacing rear springs now... I've changed discs and pads, tracked, balanced, everything everyone else has done...and still have the vibration!
Fingers crossed this is the solution for me too James |

My f10 finally is feeling as close to perfect as I can imagine it ever will, but only after slowly improving after getting new tires, being re-balanced by a well trusted shop, new suspension arms, linkages, and struts, and a new rear differential bushing. The new tires made a noticeable improvement, but even more so after I had a different shop balance them. The original shop didn’t seem to care about getting it as close to perfect as possible it seems. The front thrust arms didn’t look damaged, but are known to cause a high speed vibration from what I’ve read, and I had 70,000 miles on them. I replaced the rest of the suspension at the same time because I knew I was keeping the car for quite a while and wanted to eliminate and other potential issues with the suspension going forward (I’ve got 170,000 miles now). The rear differential bushing is a known failure item as well, and mine was very obviously due for a change. (Had obvious cracks and was allowing the differential to sag) These items may not be your issue, but by replacing this combination of components, it eliminated my issue. |

I had one like this at the dealership - swapped all 4 tyres from another vehicle and issue still persisted - constant vibration on highway - similar to a buckled wheel/broken prop centre bearing symptoms.
I replaced the rear brake disks + pads and that sorted the issue out. Do not ask me how because I don't know. And please do not crucify me if you replace your rear brakes and the problem still persists. |

problem solved
Thought i'd throw my 2 pence in on this as i had the same vibration problem in my 2014 F10 530d M Sport.
I purchased my F10 from a reputable garage. The car had 80k miles on it. As soon as i drove it on the motorway the car was vibrating at 60mph and upwards. I had the wheels balanced twice and it didnt solve the problem. I returned it to the garage under warranty, to which their mechanic couldn't figure out what was casuing the issue, so it was booked into the local BMW dealership. I was told they have a rolling road, and the car was put on the rolling road and brought up to 70mph and apparantly the diff looked like it was trying to jump out of the sub frame and rocking from side the side. BMW said that the 3 differential mounts were severly cracked and perished. They replaced these at a cost of £670 parts and labour ( i think the garage had a deal with the BMW dealership as this sounded very cheap to normal BMW prices ) Problem solved. The car no longer vibrates / shakes at all, at any speed. So if you have this problem you might want to check the diff mounts ALSO: the car was shaking when braking at motorway speeds. But this was obviously a different type of vibration - the discs and pads, front and rear, were replaced with OEM parts and that problem has also gone Hope that helps someone out Last edited by Taxman_TXM; 12-11-2023 at 06:25 AM.. 100% control arm bushes, I’ve owned an E39, E60 and now an F11. They have all suffered with big vibration when braking at motorway speeds. You have some options here, 1) you can replace with what you have. 2) up grade with 7 series control arms (same arms but stiffer bushes due to added weight of the vehicle) or 3) what I’ve done to all three 5 series’ is cut the bush out and replace them with poly bushes. Massive improvement with sharper steering and 0 vibration when braking.
