Yes exactly. I initially wanted AW, but my wife does not like it. So we go for Moonstone...

Summertime!
So, the M3 and the 535i get new summer tires today. M3 gets Michelin Pilot Super Sport (19" 245/265) and the 535i also Michelin Pilot Super Sport (20" 255/285).
Just a few quickly made pictures of the 535i, it needs a wash, because it is so dirty, perhaps I make some better ones afterwards... Seems I need to think about ACS lowering springs... |

I love the color and the configuration, but I must say I hate those wheels!
By the way, I see that you are living in Rheinland-Palatinate. What dealer did you negotiate with? Enjoy your ride! Last edited by rhinosaur; 03-16-2012 at 05:02 PM.. |

Yes, normally you are jumping directly into any thread if there are any new mods around... I excpeted that in that case also and I am a little bit disapointed that it takes so long this time!

No, not yet. I am thinking about ACS, but I want first see how the 20" behave in daily driving.
We will get it mounted tomorrow. This is because the pictures are just taken after I had the rims be check by german TÜV. Afterwards I mounted the winter tires back. So I have no experience regarding real ride quality, but if I remember right, the ride was softer with the 20" PPS then with the 17" RFT tires. Also it handles significantly better, I think because the 20" BBS-CH-R with PSS weights LESS then the 17" OEM rims with RFT tires. So to came back to your question: We will see! Next project after I will have bought the M3 out of leasing next year is the performance exhaust and powdercoating the M359 rims. So perhaps the F11 remains stock... |
