It's definitely faster in real world use.

For anyone who hasn't seen, here's some video demos of the new BMW Navigation, along with some other tech that's coming (voice dictation, iDrive touch, etc.)

guys excuse my stupidness but lets say both engines got a tune (the N63 we have today and the new 445hp one), will the new engine produce more power because of the valvetronic setup ?

that depends how complex it is to tune the valvetronic system and how did bmw gain that 45 additional hp.
If bmw didn't touch boost at all to gain hp then i would bet that a tuned version of this motor will net you more power than the old motor. But.....if bmw did crank up the boost to gain that 45hp then its less for aftermarket tunes to work with so the gains at the end will be pretty close with the only variable being valvetronic or not. This happened when they came out with the 335is. Bmw gave the car more boost to put out more HP but after you tune it, the end result peak hp was nearly the same between the 335 and 335is. Alan

Apparently for the 535i the passive sports suspension is standard with the M sport package while DDC and ARS is an additional cost or a stand alone package. They're doing that now since there isn't just a standard Sports Package anymore.
I believe with the 550i you can't get the passive sports suspension and only the DDC/ARS with the M sports package.
