Still, they are off pretty good quality. Couldn't ask for more when I only paid 2.8k per wheel. |

The HRE are forged wheels. 19" HRE monoblok are way lighter than stock 18"

HRE should be lighter since they are forged, but need to pay much more |

Of cuz, if you want ultra light wheels, forged are ones to go with. But I have yet to find a set with decent price. Don't like HRE myself, as I think they are still quite heavy for forged wheels. Right now, I am also looking at ADV.1 forged and Kahn's forged. Last edited by kfiend; 07-30-2010 at 12:08 AM.. |

You meant you want to trade in your stocks? The shop at Ching Fung Street, Tin Hau (end of the street) offer $3k. But I know many other shops offer $4k such as the one at Tai Hung (right across CRC). Happy wheel hunting and welcome to the F10 family. Also, mind to share with us what spec. you ordered for your F10? |

Hi RC3,
Thanks for the info. I go to CRC for tennis pretty often n will check it out. Mine is just a basic 523i Executive with Electric blind as option. The sales told me they have been receiving 200pcs. of '5' every month since June, so I assume a lot of them on the street rightnow. Do u guys know a good place to sell my 2004 520i since the BMW sales only offer me $120,000 when I hand over the car in Jan. 2011. |

Quite a large number of them has been re-exported to Singapore/other Asian countries. Probably around a total of 300 on the roads in HK now. Most of them are 523/528 then 535. 550s are far and few......

So you have the executive, may loose a lot of fun without the DHP. A lot of the other C-hings have 535 and 550 which I wish I can get if I have the budget. Don't trade in your car at the dealer, they rip you off. Try sell it on your own at the local re-sale web sites, that is what I will do. BTW, I also play tennis. May be we can start a F10 tennis club. |

mlai, you mean the F10 are re-exporting to other Asian countries from HK? This I didn't know, I thought the other countries import on their own.

Yes. Because if you export the car within 3-months (maybe 6?) of First Registration, you get a refund on the FRT. So very popular with the parallel importers elsewhere......

mlai, you will be a happy man in a few hours having moon cakes in your awesome F10. The moon may not be visible but I am sure it won't affect your good mood.

Mine is Sophisto Grey, Oyster/oyster n anthracite trim, which I think is a safe combination.
Any specific site to sell car ? Is it '28car.com' ? Since I live in the Hk side, n it maybe a problem if the potential buyer is on the Kowloon side. Let me know if u guys want to play tennis since I can get court at Jockey club. I don't know what level u guys are, I am only a 'D' grade player. |

Cool combo, ac388. Oyster/oyster will have a roomier affect. I could not afford it tough since I will be driving to off road places sometimes and would get very messy.
Yeah, selling on your own might be a bit troublesome but this is how you will sell at a good price. Also try cxr8.com. I am a so so tennis player but just need the exercise to loose the spare tire around my waist. I am also a HK Island dude. |
