Front and back Audi. Side and inside BMW its a wash. Only the 3 and 5 series can match or beat Audi designs in the same class category. Everything else Audi just does so much better IMO. Think X3 vs Q5. Not even close. The X5 vs Q7.... Q7 is hideous IMO, and X5 better looking.

The Audi is pretty ugly, I wouldnt buy it with your money, but the looks are personal taste and I wont go into the reasons because its more of the same and not worth the time to pound it out. I will say, the new S-line will get smoked by my 550 just as its predecessor does.

Sure yeah, both car look equally great, but once you crank them up and run them side by side that is where the comparison ends. BMW is the ultimate driving machine, Audi is more comfortable and easy to drive. It all comes down to what kind of driver you are, and what you are looking for in a car and at what price.
Both great cars. BMW and the way they handle is what sells me on them.

This is why I like the pop-up. It's changeable. Then again, I have the built-in cutout style in by A4 right now....so I might be biased towards whatever's different and new. About that Profile overhang comparison....you drew the line from the tip of the 'chin'. That chin in all new Audis are way extended beyond whatever can be fairly used as point of reference for weight distribution. You need to look at detailed geometric diagrams to judge this accurately....thanks to the new pedestrian crash regulations.

The location of the Navigation on the A6 is horrible, it looks so out of place. The exterior on both of them is beautiful but the interior has to go to the 5 series.

I was looking at buying an a6 after I recently totalled my 335. I loved my 335 but had a bunch of issues with it and needed more space for my growing family. The exterior on Audi's are nice but I feel like they all look the same just with different length wheelbases. One of the main reasons I didn't get the Audi is because the interior looked really cheap (specifically the dash), even to the point my wife commented on it (and she doesn't know much about cars). The seats are both nice looking and comfortable but I couldn't get over the dash.

IMO.
M-SPORT VS S-LINE BMW /AUDI Front 1 /1 Side 1 /0 Rear 1 /-0.5 Regular Version BMW /AUDI Front 0.5 /0.5 Side 1 /0 Rear 1 /-1 Well,,,I jus made these scores up myself,,so these are all just my opinions. I never really like any of the AUDI butts. I think they are all ugly. I love the BMW side profile the most(over any other brands),,so yehhh. However, the front are pretty equally nice thou. Like both of them, but LOVE BMW MORE. |

Ive always said audis are always going to be prettier but they are not a drivers car. The feel is just ..... GHAY. This coming from a e46 m3, b5 s4, b7 s4, and current b8 a4 owner.

That pop up is also terrible, every now and then I rent a car with one and always think its more annoying then practical. What is the point? Maybe the guy who likes this like debadging because it has the same clean concept? idk ...

Lol, bravado? I'm just saying the S-line you are talking about is a 535i rival and NOT a 550i rival. Audi A6 3.0TFSi (C7) - 300bhp, 440Nm, 0-60mph in 5.5 secs BMW 535i (F10) - 301bhp, 400Nm, 0-60mph in 5.8 secs Audi S6 (C7) - likely to be 450bhp+ and <5 secs BMW 550i (F10) - 401bhp, 600Nm, 4.8 secs

The 2012 A6 2.0 TDI tips the scales at just 3,472 pounds. That is 3-series weight.
Audi is tackling cutting weight with their cars. Great news. http://www.egmcartech.com/2010/12/03...-of-materials/ |
