It IS a BMW.
Can't you see the kidneys through the mesh in the grill? This car has been observed going in and out of BMW facilities in München. I bet the spies who took the pictures also checked the registration plate and found it registered to BMW AG or some subsidiary.

The gas cover is on the right hand side of the car...something they can't disguise.
Acura and lexus have them on the left...

Those are some HUGE ASS kidney grilles beneath that camo! Also, another hint that it's 99.99999% likely to be a BMW is the side mirrors. I'm not kidding you. There's definite influence from the Concept CS in the way they're creased.

LOL
I love how people "are not feeling" or "dont like" a camo'd car... Let it come out first people... Definatly a BMW... Kidney's Shark Fin HUGE brakes Hofmeister kink Quad exhausts leave me to believe it is an M, or a new motor, as someone else stated possibly the new TT V8, or both TT V8 M5, shrugs, I think M's will have to go FI at some point... Seriously, how can you tell if your going to like a car that has SOOOO much camo? I wouldnt like it either it it looked like that... I just hope its not TOOOO plain. The current 5 series has really started to grow on me lately, the facelift looks great! I might look to a CPO'd unit at some point. Though it would be difficult to do that when a new or CPO'd counterpart 3er would most likely have the TT 6 and a 5er, that I could afford, probably would not...

A baby 7!! Looks like the simple streamlined interior lines from the current 3-series influenced the new 7 and it's making its way to the 5. Good job BMW. I like it!!

It baffles me how people think this thing is an acura TL or volvo!!
this is so obviously a bmw its not even funny. anyone who says different is an absolute idiot. it has the same wheels they use on test cars. new 7 for example: those are obviously bmw brakes. hofmeister kink just like bmw does them, not infiniti etc. clearly a kidney grill behind the cladding. same rear light treatment that they put on the test cars that looks like the old 7. new 7 under testing for example: and of course it has quad exhaust, it just doesnt have the bumper integrated, lexus LS-like "exhaust finishers" like the new 7 has: not to mention the same mirrors etc etc etc and the interior is identical to the new 7 BROCHURE SCAN OF THE NEW 5. NOT THE 5 GT....NOT SOME NEW X5.....THE NEW 5: Last edited by schnell330i; 03-11-2009 at 12:27 PM.. |

I have conformation that this is a 750i from bmwblog.com
"Update: For some odd reason, BMW is still testing the F01 7 Series, so YES, this is the shortwheel base 7." |
