I can attest to that as I just became a father 2 weeks ago. A lot of work but a lot of fun as well. I can't help staring and cuddling my kid. My wife just told me the money I spent for the wedding should be justified by now

Oh my first post..how exciting
I am in HK...i just bought a 2nd hand 528i..and its now in BMW shop for final checkup before completing sale. I am group B...i have no 2nd car...but i have a ducati..this is my slow acceptance to being more "mature". I decided not to get the 535i because I didn't want to pay the extra $150,000 for the extra 40 hp when nothing with 4 wheels will ever really give me teh feeling of a motorcycle..so might as well save the money! Maybe i will meet some of you HK'ers in the future. |

Ducati? That's really mean and sick. Beg you feel like driving a snail with the F10. That's quite a difference for you. How much did you pay for your 528? Yeah, prices gone up a lot since the introduction of the extra tax. Just save your money for mods.

Hi to both of you
I paid $540K. The KMs were relatively high though (a bit under 20K), but I don't mind so much because in HK, we are too used to low KMs. In US, 20,000 KMs in one year is pretty acceptable. I am hoping to get H&R springs and 20" rims. I promised my fiance i wouldn't switch anything else. Does either of you have suggestions of shops in hk (RC3 - i read about your experience at Monster). It seems a lot of pple like forgestar, is that because of the price value? I know if I go 19" to 20" it has to be good design, because the 528i can't handle unbalanced wheels too well i think. As for the ducati vs the bmw..it was really funny...for the test drive, the guy said feel free to just "go"...haha...i wasn't very impressed..the only comparable acceleration to motorcycle is really go-kart. But that is ok, this is just more for comfortable and a bit of weekend fun driving to Stanley or up to Peak. Riding the ducati is very hot because i have a full race system on it so it burns my legs....all red after a ride. I will probably move the bike to zhuhai track and keep the car for recreation. |

I thought that's approved already, but still didn't announce how to get those refund back? I think they will only do that after all the HKD6000 transactions completed.. |

Congrats, 540k isn't that bad. Suggested to go for 20", forgestar is popular for F10 because of it value, but also the quality. Not a bad choice at all. I bet you will swap to H&R very quick as well. Oh ya, ducati fit well at ZIC. But I knew that sn't cheap if you park/ stored it there. The repair cost is very high at the track too, unless you can fix everything yourself. Welcome to the forum and enjoy your ride soon. |

Originally, I was going to get an A4 quattro brand new out the door for about 450. But i knew i would spend another 100K on it and if i ever sell back out i would never get it back. So this is the way i convince myself.
Sorry to ask you all questions already, but is ordering the wheels myself in much cheaper? Did i read somewhere that someone had forgestars they wanted ot sell..(i am not sure becaues i hae been reading lots of boards the last few days). ZIC is expensive I guess, but I used to have a friend who raced gokarts in the old new territories race track. And after he told me how expensive the maintenance and storage was there, it makes it sound like ZIC is ok value. Haha. |

Try to PM mlai for the forgestar, I'm not sure if he wanna sell his or he might keep 2 sets wheels. Nobody knows. lol Correct, both ZIC and gokarts are ridiculous expensive to keep the cars there, unless you went there every week, then it's worth. But I knew most people will only go ZIC few times per year or even less, esp. summer now. So that's why I consider it's ridiculous expensive for Zhu Hai. |

Hi dyip
MLai, Unfortunately, I have same color car as you. so if it is visually a prob for yours, so it shall be for mine I am just thinking whether i should get matte black or brushed silver. The first seems like it would look good but a bit too racy...the 2nd...i guess its more professional..... |
