Break torque and Launch control cannot be compared. The difference is remarkable.
Also just to add some weight to mine and combats argument. See my 0-60 with BMS stage 1 and LC. I have seen every 0-60 video of the f10 550 and 550xi and I believe from 0-60 I have the fastest.. For now at least. If I'm wrong please so be it. I don't think I am tho You can dissect the video as you like. The range is from 3-8-4 sec. If you find faster please let me know! Not here to offend anyone just friendly debating! |

Yes...we are
Also, you can just install Sergey's VBOX. Who actually cares if it runs 3.8/3.9 or 4.2.... Like the 4 second mark is a magical number? LMAO. Also, hopefully he has his car running right by then. But anyhow, I put 400 miles on my car now and I finally think it's running pretty well on S2. Still I think some kinks to work out w/ the cold weather than the S1 has no issue with, but let's see. The magical number here however is.... a 1/4 mile run in anything that starts with 11.xx for any of us. This whole TU vs. non-TU thing sounds like the retarded conversation of non-M owners vs. M owners, or even the N54 setup vs. the N55 setup... As with most things car related... newer engines = better, especially with BMW in terms of power if nothing else. We're better than that |

Scott, lol you are right my friend. With all due respect the magic numbers for me are a 0-60 in under 4sec. with a 1/4 of 11.XX.
Also terry just posted a how to increase power for the stage 1 N63TU Race map!! Pure Awsomeness!! Quote:

Yes, I asked him on behalf of you as well so I could show you... just turn the dial up to his suggested setting of 60%.... do you know what it's set at by default?

Jealous of you AWD guys right now. All i get to do is burn out my snow tires anytime i give it half throttle or more lol
Aradonicic - I tried turning up the TU S1 settings to half way 12 oclock position (default is 11am) and the car didn't seem to like it. Power delivery seems more jerky and seemed slower with normal driving so i turned it back down to default. Curious if your car would do the same as mine if you cranked it up.

93 octane and stock.... 40% setting 93 octane and hi-flow downpipes... 50% setting Race gas (regardless of downpipes) 60% setting... FWIW... this is the exact same as the JB+ for N54.... Last edited by scott135i; 02-03-2014 at 03:53 PM.. |

Where did you get that from Scott?
Not that I plan on changing mine from 40% at this point. I don't run race gas or Dp's so rather keep it set to 99.9% of the times how I actually run my car

Last page. The dial is a 0-100% indicator, same as the jb+ I had back in the day. |

This is one of the best threads on the forum, along with the BMS Stage 1 threads. I anxiously await some dyno numbers as Stage 2 moves through beta testing.
So to all the guys helping BMS out with beta testing, thanks in advance. |
