To OP: Why are you selling the car in the DFW, TX area? I can appreciate the work you have put into the car, but I think you have it over priced. Not too many people willing to pay the $15k+ premium you have on a car that is NOT well optioned to begin with. Also, did you just move to the DFW area as you mentioned a 8 hour drive to Austin which is only about 3 hours away from DFW

$15 + that's just how much I put in the car, not what I want to get out of it. Did you said my car is NOT well optioned? Have you read the optional listed above? Please read it, the only thing is missing is HUD and Lane departure which is not in this car.

Asking price is $51k on Dallas, TX craiglist. Way too much money for this car. I can appreciate the money spent on all the mods, but I think it unrealistic to expect a 100% return on investment. The car is missing HUD, lane departure, Blind Spot detection, ACC, sun blinds, 4 zone HVAC, massaging seats, cooled seats, rear entertainment, night vision, parking assist, ... Photos are not adequate to know for sure, but you get the idea...a pretty run of the mill optioned 550i.

I'm in the market for a 550i and I see cars spec'ed like this (except mods which demands a smaller and unique buyers group) a dime a dozen. Since I am buying used, I am looking for all the goodies since you get them almost free when buying used. My 545i is getting long in the tooth and time to move along.

I asked legitimate questions and responded to the comments received...how is that unnecessary? If we are not to comment, what is the purpose of the Forum? And, why is the OP even posting about his car? Is it necessary? Look, bottom line is when I am searching for a car and someone selling a car points you to his thread and then states highly optioned, which it isn't, then comments are fair game. I simply get tired of everyone selling a car stating something like "all options" when that is rarely if ever true. Sure, 550i's have a high level of standard equipment and compared to a base model (i.e. 528i), then yes highly optioned, but not necessarily so when compared to another 550i.

FWIW: I am not bashing the car, or even the mods done to it. Some will like them, some will not. I was just noticed some odd discrepancies and asked questions.

FYI - I'm asking $48,500.00 for my car. Bought the car $68 + TTL + over $15K upgrade mods. You do the math and let me know if I want a 100% feedback.

Still stating falsehoods. You dropped your Craigslist asking pricing to $49,500 (Dallas), yet you state here that you are asking $48.5k. What gives? Your car is worth $35k tops before upgrades. So, basically you are asking 100% return on mods (I did the math). Again, good luck with the sale, my suspicion is that you will need it.

And, I have never criticized your car, nor have my comments been "smart aleck", just facts.

Hey man, I think that even though you won't purchase it for that price, and your angle is the more for less thing, some other person will pay for what spyroz is offering, even if it seems like it is overpriced. Don't you think there would be at least one person would be well enough off and willing to pay for something as tricked out as his 550?

Just keep in mind that the seller knows what he has, and it is his belief that the price is reasonable to still be purchased by someone, anyone. Supply on a modded 550 like this is low, so the demand would be high, and the price can be too.
