Ok, not bought, but rented. Let the cleaning begin. Time to unload 20 years' worth of junk.

Three rules in my house to reduce clutter

1.) If it doesn't have sentimental value
2.) If it isn't worth money
3.) If it isn't used on a regular basis

.....it goes in the trash or donated.

Got rid of a bunch of stuff today and cleaned out half the garage. Serious vacuuming and all. Looks way better. Going to hit the other side tomorrow. Dumped some crap that's been building up behind the shed, too. An old mailbox, some busted hose reels, old half-barrel planters, etc. Still have to drag some old vacuum cleaners and other small junk out of the basement.

Black Friday was in August. You missed it. Doesn't happen again until May.

it's not possible for a deal to be so good that I would go shopping in the middle of the night and fight crowds.

Did it once 15 years ago, NEVER again

Because I want to stream on a nice television, not on a smartphone, tablet or computer. The only difference between contracting with a cable provider like I did as you know (Xfinity) is instead of having a coax cable physically connected to your setup, I've either got an ethernet connection directly to my fiber gateway or using a WiFi signal via said gateway. Cutting the cord doesn't mean getting rid of your TV. At least for me it doesn't. The "cord" for me is the evil, bend-you-over-the-table cable provider that doesn't care if you've been a loyal customer for 12 years.

After having my new AT&T fiber 1000 service I wish I could have done this a long time ago. Saving a decent chunk of money and getting much better/faster service. Even when subscribing to streaming services like Hulu Live TV, Netflix, etc., it's still significantly less than what I was paying. Best part? NO CONTRACT. I can cancel anytime and not be penalized. I don't foresee myself canceling anytime soon as I'm really enjoying my new arrangement.

Oh and I can take advantage of WiFi-6 now that I got my Pixel 6 Pro smartphone and a new laptop!

Not too shabby for WiFi....

Early 2000s Black Fridays nostalgia. Good times. Always chaotic, but never hostile

$20 at home depot, thought it a pretty good deal for an all-purpose kit to keep on hand in the house

I just received this underbody panel for my 335xi. The original one has been cracked and repaired a few times so I thought I'd replace it. Here's the kicker... I wasn't going to until one day last week I was playing around on RealOEM and grabbed the part number. I dropped said part number into Rockauto's search engine and it came up as in stock and the price was... are you ready for this? ... $6.70US. Yes the decimal is in the right place. 6 dollars and 70 cents 'Merican!
I ordered it thinking there's no way it's the right part, or the right price, or something but it arrived as described. It is a little more flexible than the original BMW part but that may be an advantage. For that price, I'll give it a try.
