McLaren has the highest downforce compared to RB and Ferrari, and Ferrari has lower downforce than RB.

Piastri gave Norris a tow at the end of Q2 to help him get into Q3 (at McLaren's request)

Ferrari decided not to plan a tow and just get the tow from whoever's in front

Russell asked for Mediums but Merc put him on softs by accident

Max (and everyone else) said McLaren is not fast in fast corners and slow corners, only in medium corners.

Looks like Monza has no medium corners. Also they are running the highest downforce of the top 3.

The RB looked fastest without a tow. Max was topping Q1 and Q2 with zero tow.

Charlie's Ferrari was (actually) the fastest car in the Qualifying .
At least Charlie pushed the highest top speeds in S1 S2 and S3 (!)
The highest top speed of 351 km/h was also for Charlie's Ferrari.

i don't think this track is easy to pass. so position coming out of first few corners will determine the race result i think. was that what happened last year I wonder. can't recall.

Ferrari as I knew were doing glory runs in practice because that's about all they're capable of. Lec again leading the way. Hopefully Lewbens Hamichello will do everything he can for #1 driver Lec tomorrow but doubt he can do much from where he is starting.

I'm sure Ferrari will put Lewis on a different strategy than Charlie. That's actually worked out OK several times this year. But, don't think I'd want to try running long on a set of Hards at Imola with so many rookies in the field. Threat of an early Safety Car might be a bit too high

Oscar Piastri (McLaren) : En pleine forme cette saison, il a dominé plusieurs GP et reste le pilote le plus régulier. Sa maîtrise sur les circuits rapides fait de lui un sérieux prétendant à la victoire.

Lando Norris (McLaren) : Malgré quelques revers, il reste dans la course au titre. Il devra combler un retard de 34 points sur Piastri pour espérer être champion.

Max Verstappen (Red Bull) : Toujours dangereux, surtout sur les tracés rapides comme Monza. Même si sa saison est moins dominante, il reste capable de coups d’éclat.

Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) : Devant son public, il pourrait créer la surprise. Ferrari a brillé à Monza l’an dernier et vise une nouvelle victoire à domicile.

The downforce difference is fractionable, I'm hoping Charlie can split the Larens at the start and for MAX to battle it out with his mate Lando. Yet to see what the starting tyres for each car will be and can't help thinking the Laren chaps at Woking are running around with their hair fast turning a shade of grey
Yuki has moved up to 9th b/c of LEW's demotion to 10th so it's a do or die chance for the Japanese to score some points and move up with those fantastic upgrades RBR have given him.

Charlies top speed is 5kph more than NOR's and prob' a bit more than 'take it easy now' PIA.
