Porter Cable 7424xp. Standard item, but works well with the hexlogic (from Chemical Guys) pads.

I wash with Dawn which will strip any wax and also use it as the lubricant for the clay bar. Seemed to work pretty well last time. |

My Harbor Freight DA is just burning up the pads even with swapping out the backing plate to the Lake Country. I use the Chemical Guy's Citrus to remove all the old wax and stuff. Does a pretty good job as the paint feels dry with no smoothness so I know all the wax has been stripped off

Installed the Avin Android 8.1. I like the screen and interface, the sound is ok. I am not thrilled that I have to use the aux input for sound on the Android side and I need to find a music app that works with the steering wheel controls. I mainly wanted it to use Waze for navigation and for watching sports while parked (ESPN, FoxGo, Slingbox).
Also replaced all interior and trunk bulbs with LEDs. |

The Avin 8.1 was $452 with the GPS split cable. I bought it from AvinUSA. It comes with everything (some add on options) and you just replace your screen and use their wiring harness to plug in to the existing harness, everything still works as from the factory with the Android side added.

I would definitely recommend it! You can feel the increase in power right away. It's also easy to install and remove if you need dealer service on the car, costs less than most tunes out there and I think its a must have if you plan on doing any performance mods to get the most horse power gains from them.

Not planning on the flywheel this time. The clutch only slips on hard launches so I'm just replacing the clutch and pressure plate to get better hooking with the added clamp force. Not worth the complete overhaul at the moment considering flywheel is extra $1500.

Yeah I'll have to take off the existing DMFW to remove the stupid pilot bearing since for this design the bread/paper tactics don't work so I'll be replacing the bolts as well when reinstalling it.
Was looking for a SMFW but literally nobody sells it for the 550. Spec had offered to engineer one but I would have to send them my existing DMFW for sizing and that just didn't work for me logistically since I'd prefer not to have the car out of commission for 2 months or however long it would take for the turn around. |

No I don't. What I'm experiencing going from stop to first and first to second quick shifts is the power doesn't fully engage and rpms kind of rise a bit after I'm fully clutched out and I feel a sense of drastic lethargy in the power train. After I ease off the gas I feel a sort of "drop" where the trans appears to synchronize with engine speed. Just early signs of clutch slippage and within 20-30k miles I'd expect this to not even hold power in-gear as I had with another car in the past which showed the same symptoms of slipping clutch.
