Here's an oldie car accessory that didn't catch on...
The Car-B-Cue is a 12-volt hot dog cooker. It can cook a pair of hot dogs and warm the buns on the outer surface. I think I'll pass.

Dad would set it on the dining room table, push four hotdogs onto the spikes, then hit the switch. Moments later we could see a little bit of steam followed by swelling hotdogs (can I say that?). After electrocuting the hotdogs, dad switched off the AC, removed the hotdogs and we had dinner.
