That's one possibility. There are many different causes. This issue just pushes my buttons, sorry. My wife has something abbreviated as RP, you first loose your peripheral vision and it slowly narrows util it's gone. It can happen fast or take years/decades. So there can be a lot of time where you are a hazard to everyone around you but you can still read books/computers etc.

completely understandable why its a sensitive matter to you.
i have problems with my right eye and already have been under knife twice. Im schedule for another surgery next month.

I love pineapple but hate it on a pizza. Something about the way it sweetens the cheese around it. Some people like it though, more power to them.
