The price for this kind of wheels seems to change quite a bit in a short period of time, so you need to ask them. |

Did some service for the car few weeks ago:
- Motor oil (Castrol Magnatec 5W-40 C3) - Transfer case oil (BMW DTF-1) - Rear differential oil (Castrol Syntrax Long Life 75W-90 1L GL-5) - Front differential oil (Castrol Syntrax Long Life 75W-90 1L GL-5) - Brake fluids The transfer case oils were flushed once with new oil. 4,2dl came out and back in on both times. Then I recalibrated the transfer case with ISTA . - Antti - |

You have an exquisite taste for wheels. Each set looks better than the other on the F10.

Do you know why BMW decided to not include a drain bolt in the new one?

My car has passed the 150.000km landmark, and within that mark the transfer case (VTG) ECU creates a fault code about the VTG oil being bad. That code is based only on kilometers, there is not any oil evaluation mechanics or electronics in the car. Only way to get that code out was recalibrating the VTG. - Antti - Last edited by Anzafin; 12-14-2020 at 02:42 PM.. |

Your car is gorgeous! I´ve seen what you have done to the car, and I really like all of the small details.

Ok so I built an oil catch can setup for my car. Mostly just for fun. But if it's able to collect any oil/water then I'm just glad. I think it turned out quite good, as for aesthetics at least.
Parts. The rack was made out of aluminium bar. The rack became solid. There were lots of room for the cans where the OEM air boxes used to be. Removing the original PCV pipes. PCV pipes modded to take the aluminium connectors and AN10 sized braided pipes. The connectors were simply rotated onto the original PCV piping. O rings between. They came out great. Installing modded parts. There. With the engine acoustic cover. I'm working on some additional covers for the sides, they're just not ready yet. - Antti - |

Catch can setup seems to work .
Got this junk after some driving. Most of it must be condensated water which forms especially at winter time (-16°C weather now). I see this underside of my oil cap too in these conditions. View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com - Antti - |
