Come spring/summer we need to do a F10 Track Day Meet
I can't wait to see the look on the peoples faces when a bunch of big heavy sedans starts putting down 11's and 12's Alan

Hopefully the dealer doesn't cry about the uncleared tune codes I left on the car. BTW serg, where do you get 100 octane when the track is closed? |

I'm on Long Island... and I needed to work until 7ish tonight, so nothing happened at all. I'm hoping to have it installed tomorrow... it's tomorrow or nothing this weekend, as Sunday is a wash with family stuff going on...

I may take you up on this...
I removed Stage 1, and looking at these directions for Stage 2, I'm a bit confused. I've watched Terry's video a few times and things don't see to match up. My wiring harnesses (there are 2 types M-M / M-F)... are these correct? Which harness gets plugged into the JB 25DB connector? My initial thought is the female wires go to the car's ECU harnesses, but then the pins don't look right as compared to the video. Video: @ 2:38 Female cable into ECU Harness which then connects to the old ECU wire with the long thin male connector 3:00. But my harness has the female with the short round male connector. Harness 1 Harness 2

BB... Thanks!
The Car is due for an oil change and maintenance... I will try to get that done this week and will touch base with you to figure out when works best for you. I do appreciate the offer, thank you! Rich

That is correct per my understanding and install attempt this weekend…the male/male goes into the JB connector. So you have the pins coming out of the connector (male) and you have a male on the opposite end. The DME/EDU OEM wires that fit into the DME/ECU connector are females…so, when you remove those, you have to replace them with females and have a male to reconnect them too (hence the male/female connector) |

Agreed…definitely helpful to have others input on the install. Some of it is straight forward and some of it is not, either way, first time doing it, good to have multiple points of input

At first glance, yeah... and 10th... the directions aren't totally clear. After spending another 10 minutes stopping and starting the video and tracing wires from the screen, this is what I came up with... am I even close? Now, if this is correct, what do we do with the cable/pin that is located in the DB25 position 1?
