We only have a few scattered patches of snow left here from Saturday's storm, and I'm pretty sure they will all be gone by sunset.

Today will be sunny, with highs either around 58 F or 72 F depending on the forecast source. We will be above average all week, and it looks like we have seen the last of our snow here until next fall.....

So decided to fly out to San Diego from Charlotte for a few days on a whim,used to work here, can work from hotel and go to the beach after work. Went to Coronado beach. And then remembered why living in Charlotte is let's just say easier. That beach life tho….

Sunny and 50's F here again today.

I turned off the oil-fired boiler yesterday afternoon, after noticing that the sun raised the inside temperature by 3 F. This morning, the inside temperature was only 2F lower than the thermostat's (disabled) set point despite being in the 30's F outside overnight. Me thinks that I'm going to leave it off, and see if heating season is truly over.....
