hi, i have a 535d xdrive 2012. i have been having issues with my bluetooth. i can connect my phone to the car and play music and everything but when i go to devices it seems like there is no device connected and also when i go to telephone in idrive menu it says there is no device connected but i am playing music from my phone via bluetooth. any idea what could be the problem???

When you say your phone is “connected”…what do you mean? Is it connected using a cable…or is it connected wirelessly through Bluetooth?

When you go to DEVICES is your phone “paired” to the car and do both the telephony & music note icons appear which verifies that the phone is paired for both telephony and BT streaming?

If not, you need to pair and then select for both telephony and music streaming (if car has this option):

My phone is connected wirelessly through bluetooth. If i go to devices when im connected via bluetooth then it shows that no devices are connected. I cant make calls from the car but i can do it through my phone. First when i got the car it worked very well. But i removed my device from the car and when i tried to connect it again it showed always like there where no devices connected through bluetooth.. but it is connected in fact. very strange.
