Well folks that's a wrap. Back home in Chicagoland. Thanks everyone for all the suggestions. Couldn't hit up all the spots but at least there's plenty more to do and see on return trips.

I like to categorize cities based on cities that are fun to go and explore and see, but not necessarily where I'd like to live... and then there's cities where I'd love to live. I think NYC falls in the former - albeit this was a short trip and we didn't get to see all it has to offer. But ultimately I think I prefer the slightly more spread out and spacious landscape of Chicagoland.

I'm glad I got to try good NYC pizza. And it WAS good... really good. But I still prefer Chicago style deep dish

Lived in NYC almost my entire life and it's definitely not a good place to live but unfortunately when you grow up in the chaos, you become one with it.

Also deep dish isn't pizza but it's delicious. Glad you got to try DiFara.
