How much would an indy shop charge for an oil pan gasket replacement on a F10 535ix?

My 2013 535ix has an oil leak from the oil pan that has progressed to drips on the floor. I watched this video of the repair and didn't realize how extensive it is due to the front axle going through the oil pan.

Has anyone paid to have this gasket replaced at an independent shop? How much did they charge?

Yes - it is that much work. I don’t think the power steering rack needs to be unbolted but nonetheless that process is right.

The question is, since labor is so expensive what parts would you change in the process to save in the long run:

Trans oil pan
Front diff oil
Transfer case oil
Suspension arms?
Replace engine mounts
Etc.

10yr old bmw will need some parts replace and the labor should be somewhat included in the job.

Below is the bmw pre-work for the oil pan:

Necessary preliminary tasks:
Remove left charge air duct.
Drain and add engine oil.
Remove front axle differential.
Remove bearing support.
Detach power steering pump and set it aside (Dynamic Drive only).
Remove engine support arm.
Detach deflecting element and holder from oil sump.

I don't know why I didn't get an email telling me you had replied, but thanks for the info. My car has 107k miles so I'd definitely want the shop to replace any worn out bushings or hoses while they're in there. I replaced all of the fluids myself last year so I'm good there. In the meantime, I'll wait until the oil level is effected before biting the bullet on this repair.
