My 550 is in the shop for a camera issue and the dealership issued me a 2014 328i. It's a cool car but the feature which I really enjoyed is the touch screen/voice command on the iDrive control wheel. Entering in addresses on the Nav System or finding an artist on a full iPod is a snap!
Is this available on LCI 5 series! How does the system function on cars with HUD? Thanks, Will

Yep...standard on the LCI 5er. Time to upgrade. This is exactly why I always lease.

Yes, this is also available on the LCI 5 Series. Great features, but I hardly use. I've used the voice command more when entering addresses.
On HUD... I believe there is no change from previous years. On my LCI, song list displays using the tumble wheel on the the steering wheel only. Can not be controlled by iDrive or voice command. Quote:
